Laura Pérez Muñoz PhD Candidate at RLL Spanish & Latinx Track. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Laura Pérez Muñoz earned their BA in Psychology at the University of Puerto Rico and later pursued their MFA in Writing and Activism at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. Currently, their research focuses on the queer dictions of Puerto Rican literature and poetry, decolonial studies, Caribbean and Latin-American diaspora studies, immigration & border theory, feminism, performance, and visual narratives.
