Core to the Learning Lab’s intergenerational team are our two groups of student Fellows: our graduate Media & Design Fellows (MDFs), and our Learning Lab Undergraduate Fellows (LLUFs). MDFs and LLUFs work collaboratively with our staff, both by docking with specific courses and through their work in our internal working groups, or labs, that are centered around particular media and tools. We train our fellows to develop a range of technical and instructional skills that allow them to:
- Design and prototype multimodal assignments
- Facilitate and support workshops in our studio
- Create resources for students
- Consult with students in courses we’re working with during our office hours
