Joanna is a Ph.D candidate at the Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures. Her dissertation is provisionally titled, "Syncretic Feminisms, Creative Spiritualities: Soul-Echoes of Women Writers in Polish and Russian Culture after 1979." At Harvard, she has taught Russian language, literature, and film.
