Ashley Cavanagh

Pedagogy Fellow in SEAS
Ashley is a fifth-year PhD candidate in Applied Physics. Her research focuses on characterizing the electrical and structural properties of quantum materials, primarily via electron microscopy techniques. Ashley has taught courses in introductory undergraduate mechanics and electricity & magnetism. She is very involved in both the Harvard LGBTQ@GSAS Association and the Harvard Women in Physics group because she is passionate about advocacy for underrepresented folks in academia. Prior to coming to Harvard, Ashley received her BA in physics from Mount Holyoke College.
