The ABLConnect Teaching Innovator Prize celebrates Harvard University instructors for their development and use of active learning exercises in their classes, and we would love to post a teaching activity you used in class to the website. Submitting your teaching activity allows other teachers to learn from your example and nominates you for our annual Teaching Innovator Prize.

We will be awarding up to three submissions this year. Recipients will receive a $100 honorarium and the opportunity to film a testimonial about their activity. Recipients  and other strong submissions will be featured on the ABLConnect website

What is ABLConnect?
ABLConnect is a searchable online web resource that provides high quality teaching ideas and content that post-secondary instructors can quickly adopt for their classes, transforming the educational experience they provide to one that uses active and activity based learning techniques. With the Teaching Innovator Prize, we recognize great teaching at Harvard by highlighting some of Harvard's most thoughtful, effective teachers.

Who qualifies?
Instructors from all schools, departments, and teaching positions are welcome to submit their activities. Activities include section lessons, labs, homework assignments, debates, short lecture activities, semester-long projects or any other pedagogical undertaking that engages students in learning in a creative or unconventional way.

Winners have come from a wide cross-section of disciplines and schools and have included college fellows, grad students, professors, lecturers, preceptors and others.
