Summer 2026: Getting Ready for the Academic Job Market Working Group
This summer, the Bok Center will be co-hosting a three-week working group for academic job market materials for Harvard Griffin GSAS students, in partnership with The Fellowships & Writing Center and the Mignone Center for Career Success.

- Monday, June 29, 10:30am-12pm (zoom): The Research Statement and Writing Sample
- Thursday, July 2, 10:30am-12pm (zoom): The Research Statement and Writing Sample
- Monday, July 13, 10:30am-12pm (zoom): The Teaching Statement and Sample Syllabus
- Thursday, July 16, 10:30am-12pm (zoom): The Teaching Statement and Sample Syllabus
- Additional Drop-in sessions for questions and feedback TBD
Monday sessions will provide overviews of the documents, and Thursday sessions will be peer review sessions for draft documents. By registering for this working group, you acknowledge that you are expected to attend all sessions. Monday presentations will not be recorded, and participation each Monday is required to participate in the respective peer-review session the following Thursday. Participation in the subsequent drop-in sessions is optional.
