Date and Time

April 9, 2026
10:00AM - 11:30AM EDT

Location

Bok Center, 125 Mt. Auburn St. 3rd Floor

This workshop will feature an overview of the role of the Sample Syllabus in your teaching portfolio (along with your Teaching Statement). Worksheets will be provided to introduce participants to different strategies for course design, and time will be devoted to drafting (or revising) your sample syllabus, incorporating opportunities for Q&A and peer review with a partner.

Workshops are open to graduate students, postdocs, and faculty. Participants must be experienced TFs (with at least one semester of teaching).  We recommend that you come with an idea for your proposed course in mind.

Please see our Job Market Materials Resources page for the full calendar of events for the upcoming semester, as well as other campus resources that offer support.
