Hebrew Students Build Custom AI Practice Tools in Bok Workshop
In a recent workshop with MOD-HEB BB students, the Bok Center supported the development of custom AI-powered learning tools. Rather than relying on generic language apps, students designed interactive flashcard interfaces and vocabulary drills populated with selected course materials. The workshop emphasized student agency in tool design, treating the act of building practice resources as a form of metacognition about individual learning needs and effective study formats. The workshop used the Gemini Canvas and Gem features available to students through the HUIT license.
