Sydney Stotter

Sydney Stotter is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures. Her research interests include the cultural production of memory in twentieth century film and literature, literary modernism and postmodernism, and Soviet-Yugoslav cultural exchange. Her dissertation project considers the intersection of visual and textual media in the creation of historical subjectivity in Russian and Serbo-Croatian literatures. In previous years, she has taught courses in Russian language, literature, and film in the Slavic department.
