Zimmerman, Amateur Hour Join us for the fifth of six one-hour faculty reading group meetings focused on Jonathan Zimmerman's recent book The Amateur Hour: A History of College Teaching in America (Johns Hopkins, 2020). In this meeting we’ll discuss the seventh and eighth chapters of the book (pp. 157–218).
