As the Bok Center’s Learning Lab Fellow, Jordan helps to design and curate the Learning Lab’s space and programs. She recently received her Master’s Degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Education’s Arts in Education Program, and she works to spark and facilitate deep connections between the wide-ranging group of people and media that converge at the Learning Lab. Her most recent project, artLab, teaches students to experiment with different modes of artmaking, and to think through art as a means of supporting courses, from framing a final presentation event with tablescapes, to incorporating claymation into a video presentation on plants and climate. She curates “The Board,” a large-scale visual summary and celebration of each week’s projects at the Learning Lab, and a hub that keeps the fellows and staff connected to each other’s work. She also collaborates on projects involving code and music, exploring how the excitement and creativity of the learning process can shine through even the most technical tools and media, connecting creative people and ideas.
