As the Assistant Director of Writing Pedagogy at the Bok Center, Jonah oversees programming related to writing in Harvard College courses, delivering workshops and consulting with faculty and graduate students on their assignment design and feedback practices. He is currently engaged in a multi-year effort to create a culture of meaningful writing in the new General Education curriculum, part of a larger project of creating a more unified culture of academic writing in the College. Jonah also teaches in the Writing Program, where he serves as a Head Preceptor. He received his PhD in Comparative Literature and German Studies from the University of Michigan, and his BA in Ancient Greek from Oberlin College.
