For the Public

The Bok Center offers two types of programming open to the general public.

  • Several times a year the Center convenes a conference, workshop, or showcase of interest to the entire Harvard community and beyond; visitors curious about the Center and its work are encouraged to attend these events, several of which are highlighted below.
  • The Bok Center has recently begun offering an online course in Higher Ed Pedagogy through HarvardX's partnership with GetSmarter. Designed by the Bok Center staff for university instructors of various career stages, the course is administered by GetSmarter, and prospective or current students with questions about enrollment, policies, etc. should contact GetSmarter.

The Herschbach Lecture Series brings to campus distinguished scientists who also are deeply involved in education.
