##  Elizabeth Thom

 My capstone project involved creating an online repository of teaching materials for Gov teaching fellows. I designed an updated version of a preexisting GovTeaches website using Sharepoint. I built out five main pages based on key resource categories: (1) getting started as a TF; (2) lesson plans and section syllabi; (3) teaching writing; (4) Expos details; and (5) tips for teaching online. Each page contains up-to-date links to handbooks, materials, and other resources. The goal was to alleviate some of the stresses that come with teaching by creating a shared space for experienced TFs to share resources and institutional knowledge.

##  Julia Coyoli

 For my capstone project, I present the syllabus from Gov3002b, which was taught for the first time in Spring 2023. This year, in the Government Department, we decided to offer an optional second semester to our pedagogy course. In the Fall semester, graduate students learn about the fundamentals of teaching, with a focus on the role of a TF. In the Spring semester, graduate students instead focus on teaching as part of their career.

##  Julia Coyoli

 In my capstone project, I present a unified framework for teaching skills in Government. TFs in Government teach classes that require students to know skills ranging from reading and writing to [math and coding](/files/coyoli_julia_math_coding_gov.pdf). In our pedagogy course I taught TFs a framework for teaching these skills to their students. While I taught different types of skills in separate sessions, I gave TFs a unified framework that they can apply to any course they will teach in the future, regardless of the type of skills needed.

##  Sarah James

 My goal this year was to institutionalize the major changes that I have made to our department pedagogy course so that future PFs can make adjustments but do not have to start from scratch on building out a curriculum. I expanded the number of required sessions for our pedagogy course, developed a series of "choice" sessions for TFs to chose from, and added in explicit connections to inclusion and equity into each session. My Capstone project consists of a scope and sequence with organized spaces for documenting successes and challenges for each session. I also created a timeline of tasks to help future PFs communicate early and often about pedagogy course expectations.
