Sarah Bramao-Ramos is a PhD Candidate in History and East Asian Languages. She works on Manchu language books and is more broadly interested in translation in the early modern world, the history of the book and of reading, and bibliography. She has taught Chinese philosophy and various aspects of East Asian Studies as part of the Sophomore Tutorial in EALC, and before that world history at the University of British Columbia, where she received her Masters in History.
