As Assistant Director of the Learning Lab, Lauren works with faculty and students to think creatively about teaching and learning. She partners with faculty and teaching fellows in the process of designing and prototyping new assignments and activities and runs workshops and is a resource for students in courses that implement those assignments. She is particularly interested in building teaching tools that help students develop skills with an eye to their application outside the classroom. Lauren also plays a key role in the Learning Lab’s Graduate Fellow programs, mentoring fellows and connecting them with courses and projects. Lauren received her PhD in Philosophy from Harvard, an MA in Bioethics from Loyola Marymount, and her BA from UCLA.
