Jessica McNeil
Jess is a graduate student in the Archaeology program in the Anthropology Department. Her research is focused on the African Paleolithic, where she tries to find glimpses into past lives by examining stone tools. She is passionate about educational outreach and knowledge accessibility, and has been involved in numerous primary-geared educational programs throughout Australia, East Africa, and the United States. As a teaching fellow at Harvard, Jess loves to teach Gen-Ed classes as they are the perfect place to think about the ways anthropological knowledge has value beyond academia, and to make meaningful connections between past and present day lives.
