Jai Gillard is a dynamic junior in Lowell House, originally from New Orleans, LA, and raised in the vibrant communities of Greater Houston, Texas. With a passion for Psychology and a secondary focus on African American Studies, Jai is dedicated to advancing her mission of bridging the divide between municipalities, Black and marginalized communities, and addressing the critical issue of mental health within an academic context.

As a catalyst for change, Jai actively fosters cultural and educational awareness where it's needed most, championing vulnerability as a means to connect and empower. Her commitment to making a difference is why she is so excited to be one of the Undergraduate Pedagogy Fellow, where she looks forward to continuing her impactful work.
