Elijah is a sophomore in Eliot House pursuing a joint concentration in African-American Studies and Sociology. He spent the summer of 2019 in Argentina working in the Museum of Modern Art of Buenos Aires in a two-month internship program. After leaving Buenos Aires, Elijah went to Beijing where he taught a seminar in the 9-day long HSYLC conference. Each of these experiences deepened Elijah's understanding of cross-cultural interaction, language acquisition, and, how to relate with others. He hopes that the CCC role will serve many of the same functions allowing a generative outlet for true cultural exchange while encouraging learning and exploration into all the different facets of teaching interculturally.
