Pedagogy Fellow in American Studies
Christofer is a 5th year Ph.D. candidate in American Studies at Harvard University, pursuing a secondary field in Studies of Women, Gender, and Sexuality. He earned his A.M. in English, also from Harvard, and a B.A. from Yale College in American Studies and Ethnicity, Race, and Migration. His dissertation examines Latinx performance and aesthetic history in the nineteenth century in order to trace a genealogy of Latinx racial formations(s). He has TA’d for classes in departments ranging from English and RLL to GenEd and WGS. In Summer 2018, he taught an introductory humanities course at Pomona College.
