Departmental TF in Organismic and Evolutionary Biology
Claire Meaders is a 6th year PhD candidate in the Organismic and Evolutionary Biology Department at Harvard. Her research projects revolve around development and genetics in the Aquilegia flower, specifically focusing on how a novel organ in the flower is programmed and what its function is. Outside of the lab Claire is active in science outreach at the K-12 level, and enjoys baking and running - she’s currently training for her 7th marathon. She is excited about sharing her love of teaching with her fellow graduate students by serving as a Departmental Teaching Fellow this year!
