Pedagogy Fellow in Organismic & Evolutionary Biology
Ava is a G6 PhD student in Organismic and Evolutionary Biology. Her work is principally concerned with conflict within a body, genomic imprinting, and its role in female reproductive health and pregnancy. She has taught a myriad of science courses, ranging from Vertebrate Viviparity to Evolution. She graduated from Cornell University majoring in Biological Sciences with a concentration in neurobiology. When not in lab or creating syllabi, you can find her on a spin bike or eating mac and cheese (though usually not at the same time).
