DESCRIPTION:<p>This workshop has been canceled. <span>Please join us at </span><a href="https://bokcenter.harvard.edu/event/teaching-controversial-topics-workshop-0">the next iteration on November 14</a>.</p><p><span>TFs and TAs teaching in courses covering controversial topics are often understandably apprehensive. Through a series of case studies, this workshop will offer pragmatic advice and concrete tools to cover challenging and divisive subject matter in a way that is engaging and respectful of all students. We will discuss different approaches that incorporate insights developed by FAS faculty, the Bok Center, and the Edmond &amp; Lily Safra Center for Ethics.</span></p><p><strong>Workshops are open to graduate students, TAs, postdocs, and faculty.</strong></p>
