DESCRIPTION:<p>	As you prepare to begin teaching at Harvard, come together with other new faculty and members of the Bok Center's senior staff to tackle one of the most fundamental challenges instructors face: how to motivate students to do the reading in an age of distraction. Learn what current research tells us about how to help students develop from novice to expert readers in your field, and share ideas from across the disciplines about how best to model (and incentivize) effective reading in your courses. Spend an hour on with us on Zoom to pick up some valuable ideas about helping students arrive in the classroom prepared to discuss and apply the material on your syllabus.
