DESCRIPTION:<p>	Led by:<br>Pamela Pollock, <em>Director of Professional Development</em><br>Rebecca Miller Brown, <em>Assistant Director, Graduate Student Programming</em></p><p>	Are you a new Teaching Fellow, wondering how to prepare for your first semester of teaching? PhD students who have completed the self-study modules on our <a href="https://icommons-tools.tlt.harvard.edu/shopping/course_selfreg/68661" target="_blank"><em>Hit the Ground Running</em></a> Canvas site are invited to this interactive workshop where we will review key components of each core module, starting with <a href="https://canvas.harvard.edu/courses/68661/pages/module-1-%7C-overview?module_item_id=678545" target="_blank">Where to Begin: Roles, Responsibilities, and Communicating Expectations</a>, Building and Sustaining Community, and Lesson Planning and Inclusive Teaching. You will explore topics from each module in more depth, learn about our resources and approach to teaching, and connect with TFs from across GSAS to feel more confident and prepared for the first day of class.</p><p>	<em>This workshop is being offered as part of Winter Teaching Week and is designed for GSAS PhD students and others at similar career stages engaged in the teaching of Harvard College undergraduates.
