PhD Candidates Wow the Crowd at Harvard Horizons

Held on the evening of 11 April, the sixth annual Harvard Horizons Symposium featured the research of eight stellar Harvard PhD candidates. Under the guidance of the Bok Center's experts in professional and scholarly communication, the scholars have worked intensively together since January, honing their skills and building a sense of community that reaches across their disciplinary boundaries.

GSAS Students Report Positive Teaching Experiences

The Graduate School of Arts and Sciences has just released the results of its biannual survey of registering students, which includes questions about their teaching experiences. The Bok Center is delighted that 87% reported positive teaching experiences, and 94% reported receiving training and support in their teaching roles. The Bok Center's Pamela Pollock describes some of our many resources for graduate student teachers in the GSAS news release.
