The Bok Center trains graduate students to teach not only undergraduates, but also high school students. Through Life Sciences Outreach and the Amgen Foundation, hundreds of students from neighboring Cambridge Rindge and Latin School perform experiments in the undergraduate laboratories in the Science Center.
The Graduate School of Arts and Sciences has just released the results of its biannual survey of registering students, which includes questions about their teaching experiences. The Bok Center is delighted that 87% reported positive teaching experiences, and 94% reported receiving training and support in their teaching roles.
