## Summer 2026 Opportunity

The Learning Lab is hiring a small team of undergraduate fellows for Summer 2026. Fellows will test emerging AI tools, develop and document learning materials, and support the organization of the Learning Lab’s physical space. We prototype, test, gather feedback, and revise on short timelines, so fellows must be adaptable and ready to pivot as projects evolve.

**Responsibilities:**

- Test AI tools and document workflows and use cases
- Provide feedback on prototype assignments and activities
- Create student-facing resources (guides, examples, media)
- Organize materials, inventory, and studio spaces
- Support general Learning Lab projects and documentation

**We’re looking for students who:**

- Are curious about AI and emerging technologies
- Learn new tools through experimentation
- Are organized, reliable, and comfortable with hands-on tasks
- Communicate clearly and reflect on their work
- Contribute to a collaborative working environment

This role is particularly well suited for students engaged in rigorous academic or intellectual work who are interested in extending that work into new formats. We value strong analytical habits, curiosity, and care, and an interest in testing and communicating complex ideas.

Please note that this is an in-person role on campus in Cambridge.

## 2026-2027 Learning Lab Undergraduate Fellows Program

The Learning Lab employs a number of Harvard College students as Learning Lab Undergraduate Fellows (LLUFs). Initially user testers for the array of new assignments and activities developed by our team, the LLUF role has evolved over the years as we have learned how valuable it is to put these students at the center of our design process and implementation. While they aren’t yet experts in the disciplines, they are experts of their own experience—they know how they learn, they know what makes them feel included or excluded, they know what matters to them. As a result, LLUFs take an active role in shaping our stack of course support, offering their expertise as learners and co-designers who constantly promote equitable, inclusive, and culturally relevant innovations to the assignments, workshops, and resources we offer.

The LLUF program serves four purposes:

- to test out and provide feedback on assignments and activities designed by Harvard faculty and graduate students
- develop communication skills in an array of media and tools to support Harvard College Undergraduate classes through workshops, office hours, developing materials and resources, etc
- to support the day to day activities of the Bok Center (helping out with events, assisting in the Learning Lab Studio, maintaining the space, etc)
- to assist in documenting their work and the work of the Bok Center by submitting updates on their work and consenting to periodically having their work documented on camera

LLUF applications are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year. If you are interested in joining for Fall 2026, please apply at the link below.
