Does the very idea of small talk-- the informal chatting we do with colleagues, acquaintances, and even strangers-- make you cringe or even shy away from social events? In this workshop, participants will discuss this cultural ritual, and will learn about and practice the basics of making small talk, an important skill for building professional networks.

This is part of the Spring 2018 Focus on Culture and Communication workshop series. Participants are welcome to attend all or any of these events.
