In these workshops, participants will learn about, assemble, and workshop the materials needed for a teaching portfolio, including a teaching statement, evidence of teaching effectiveness, and sample syllabus.

They will also provide you with the opportunity to reflect and receive feedback on your teaching, whether or not you are preparing to go on the academic job market. In the creation of teaching portfolios, we will review backward design methods that will align your teaching interests with setting clear learning objectives and engaging students through the design of assignments and activities. Peer review sessions will pair participants and provide tips on editing and giving feedback.

**Workshops are open to graduate students, postdocs, and faculty. Participants must be experienced TFs (with at least one semester of teaching) and come to each session with at least a first draft of the materials prepared.**
