Come join Gina Schouten (Philosophy) and faculty colleagues on Wednesday, January 21, 12:00-1:00pm (Plimpton Room, Barker Center 133) for a pre-semester conversation on Norm-Setting for Rich Classroom Conversations. In this session, we'll discuss strategies for setting, applying, and reinforcing discussion norms to make deep and productive classroom conversations likelier. Participants will be invited to share their own challenges and insights, and our goal is for the discussion to be immediately relevant to you as you prepare to launch your Spring 2026 classes the following week. Lunch will be provided.

Open to all FAS faculty. Lunch will be provided.
