Undergraduate Students

Learning Lab Undergraduate Fellows
Harvard College Undergrads try out the assignments and activities that the Bok Center develops in its Learning Lab for faculty.  We videotape the students as they perform the activities in question and then record their feedback, all of which we present to faculty and their course-teams.  This feedback drives the revisions we make to the assignments, which are ultimately deployed in Harvard College classrooms in the coming year.

Undergraduate Pedagogy Fellows
The Bok Undergraduate Pedagogy Fellows Program aims to improve the section experience for both undergraduates and graduate Teaching Fellows through a new initiative drawing on the perspectives of undergraduates. Undergraduate Pedagogy Fellows create interactive workshops about Harvard undergraduates, their expectations for sections and Teaching Fellows, and strategies to promote more productive relationships and interactions between students and teaching fellows.

International Course Assistants
Undergraduate culture and communication consultants are hired and trained by the Professional Communication Program for International Teachers and Scholars to give international graduate students an undergraduate perspective on issues related to teaching and academic life at Harvard. They work as course assistants in Bok courses and seminars to give feedback on both teaching and language skills, and are also available for one-on-one discussion, teaching and language practice.
