Summer Undergradute Research in Science, Math & Engineering

Applications are being accepted through February 16 for PRISE, the Harvard College Program for Research in Science and Engineering, a 10-week program for students working with faculty in FAS and other parts of Harvard.  It offers "a stimulating, collegial, and diverse residential community for Harvard undergraduates engaged in summer research in life science, physical science, applied science, mathematics, and engineering."  Tell your students!

Are you using, or interested in using, Personal Response Systems in your class?  The Academic Technology Group has a pilot project to improve and standardize PRS support in FAS, and the Bok Center has an updated guide on how PRS use combined with Peer Instruction and conceptual question design can improve student learning.
